Sex & Nudity: Once in a while Sam or Dean have hookups with girls, but it is fairly brief.

Some innuendo and sexual references.

Dean is known as a bit of a womanizer in the first few series but seems to mature more as the show progresses.

While the sex scenes are not graphic and show no nudity they are usually quite long and involve lots of kissing, caressing and thrusting.

Women are shown in their underwear.

A few scenes involve strip clubs where women where skimpy outfits and come very close to revealing nudity.

One character seems uneducated about sex and is often confused by references made, though he appears to understand things more when he sleeps with a women for the first time and asks if 'what he did was correct.'

Slight references made to masturbation

An elderly woman tries to flirt with Sam in a season 3 episode.

Dean is a fan of nude magazines and pornographic movies, both on the internet and television. They do not show any nudity but the subject is brought up from time to time.

Violence & Gore: Most episodes tend to be infrequently violent and very rarely graphic or gory. As the seasons progress, graphic and bloody violence becomes more frequent albeit without much focus on gore.

Supernatural beings are killed with axes, guns, blades in some very brutal ways. Guts can be seen briefly in several times.

Sam and Dean have at least 1 time that they enjoy killing things without necessity.

Most of the violent scenes are served for frightening/intense scenes catagory.

Profanity:  Damn, Hell, Crap, Piss , Bitch, Ass nothing over the top.

Some uses of ''Prick''.

One use of ''Shit'' in the episode ''Hollywood Babylon''.

In the episode ''Ghostfacers'' all cuss words are censored.

In later seasons, "dick" is frequently used as an insult term. In these later seasons a character named Dick Roman is introduced, and comical innuendos are often made of his name, such as the television caption reading "the rise of Dick."

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Most episodes end with Sam & Dean drinking beers. Several scenes in bars featuring drunk people. Little or no other drug use, if so then not by the main characters.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Many frightening and/or intense scenes including; creatures, people being attacked, and even Dean going to hell. Episodes are sometimes frightening, intense, emotional and infrequently violent.

Story: This television drama is about two brothers, Sam and Dean, who were raised by their father, John, to hunt and kill all things that go "bump in the night" after his wife, Mary, was murdered by evil supernatural being when the boys were young. 22 years later the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way, to find their recently missing father who, when they finally meet up with, reveals he knows what killed their mother, a demon, and has found a way to track and kill it. Meanwhile, Sam starts to develop frightening abilities that include death visions, visions of people dying before it actually happens. These visions are somehow connected to the demon who murdered his mother and its mysterious plans that seem to be all about Sam. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same devil that had killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor, are determined to finish the crusade their father started. But disturbing revelations about Sam's part in...

Likes : This is one series that start off very strong as it leave no stone unturned for frightening scenes, as you see two brother throw in to a dark world of hunting everything paranormal & crypted after something took there family.
I love this season for the reason that ever episode is never the same & has it own style of creepiness that is filmed brilliant by the cast,  This show is everything you ever wanted in a TV show. It's suspenseful, the characters have depth, it's funny without being silly, it has a touch of campyness (but not enough to be ridiculous although some episode are seriously funny & frighting at the same time). The strongest element of the show by far is the two leads, Jared Padalecki (Sam) and the phenomenal Jensen Ackles (Dean--who is easily one of the most compelling and likable characters your see on TV in a long time).
They play brothers who had been separated for a few years when the search for their missing father brings them back together. They grew up hunting supernatural beings with their father so they travel across the country fighting evil that get in their way.
Dean and Sam have excellent on screen chemistry and a dynamic that really works for a show like this. It's important for a show like this, with only two leads (and really no supporting characters yet ) that the two leads be interesting and complex enough both together and on their own to keep people interested in the show. The creators of this series have hit the ball out of the park with Dean and Sam as it become a big fan based serious that has gone on to do 10 season.
Dean and Sam each bring their own strengths and weaknesses and each have their own crosses to bear. Dean still remembers his mother (who is shown in a flashback being brutally murdered by an unknown evil force) who died when he was a small child so he understands the reasoning behind his father's crusade. Sam is haunted by the death of his girlfriend (coincidentally--or not--killed in the exact same manner as their mother) which was the catalyst for him joining Dean in the search for their father, in the hopes that Dad has found out something more about whatever killed the most important women in his life.
The season has gone on to show ghost, creatures demon & angels so what's next for season 10? this is a series i recommend getting in to as it one of the these best series on tv, Special with the new character that join the series special Mark Sheppard who play Crowley he's just a character you gotta love but hate at the same time & well as  Misha Collins who plays Castiel who he funny at time but such a great character this is why this series just get stronger & strong as the season go on so worth owning on Dvd / blu-ray.

Overall : One of the best Tv series around, great acting ,great episodes great story's

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for story / concept

24

Genre: Action | Drama | Mystery

Cert: 15 cert

Starring: Kiefer Sutherland , Mary Lynn Rajskub , Carlos Bernard , Dennis Haysbert , Elisha Cuthbert , James Morrison , Reiko Aylesworth , Jude Ciccolella , Kim Raver , Glenn Morshower , D.B. Woodside , Roger R. Cross , Penny Johnson , Cherry Jones , Sarah Clarke many more.....

Running time: 44 Min Per Episode, 24 episode (Per Season)

Season's : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 on DvD ,  Season 9 on TV

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: Characters of both genders are seen in various states of undress (no explicit content). Naked characters are sometimes seen in bed, with lots of skin but no sensitive areas shown.
Several characters have sex off-screen. There are brief men/women and women/women make-out scenes.
The term "screw" is used sexually, and there is lots of mention of people sleeping together, having affairs, etc.
In the first season, two characters are shown having sex. However, the shot only lasts for a few seconds and the characters are mostly covered with bedsheets. A second sex scene later on in the season lasts several minutes. Mostly passionate kissing shown.
Elisha Cuthbert wears a top through which her nipples can be identified. This happens at least twice across seasons. In one of the scenes, she is shown wearing panties and a top.
A man and woman can be seen in the mirror having sex in season 8, but no sensitive areas can be seen.
In season 5, we see a 13-year-old girl who has been kept as a sex slave by a much older man. She has many bruises and marks on her body.
Sometimes when characters are tortured, they are stripped down naked, but sensitive body parts are covered, albeit barely.

Violence & Gore:Given that there is almost 200 hours of footage, it would be near impossible to describe every scene of violence that occurs in the show. That being said, scenes of shooting, stabbing, explosions, and/or torture are a given in almost every episode.
The main character Jack Bauer has a recorded 233 kills across the seasons with 4/5 kills as a result of gunshots and nine kills from season two onwards as a result of neck breaking. The shooting scenes usually do not show blood explicitly and usually has the person just fall to the ground.
24 has received controversy for its use of torture. For a brief overview suspect are interrogated usually are injected with a type of chemical that induces pain. Jack Bauer breaks a man fingers one by one, cuts man's finger off by one, shoots a man in the kneecap but they are all justified in the sense that these are terrorists withholding information.
Some of the more "extreme" episodes feature viral outbreaks, plane crashes, toxic gases, hostage takings, and nuclear detonations.
We see a woman with cut wrists lying dead in a chair, and we see tons of blood all over her and the surrounding furniture.
We see several bloody bullet holes in various parts of peoples' bodies.
A man digs into another man's stomach with his bare hands to retrieve a computer chip.
A man slides a knife into another man's kneecap.
A man in graphically shot in the head with a sniper rifle.
A man's arm in amputated off-screen.
A man is tied up while terrorists drive a buzz saw into his back, and it shreds him (this is barely shown off-screen). Minutes later he's shot in the head. The bloody aftermath is shown in great detail.
If reading this description makes you uneasy, this show may not be for you.

Profanity:  Pretty mild. The word "damn it" "hell" or the phrase "son of a bitch" is used in most episodes. "Asshole", "dick" and "goddamn" is used too, but very infrequently

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:With the exception of season three, 24 contains only small, infrequent incidences of drinking, smoking, and drugs.
The storyline of season 3 revolves around drugs. There are several graphic scenes of characters shooting up heroin. Nevertheless, the pain and torment characters experience from using drugs puts substance abuse in a very negative light.
A major sub-plot is 's addiction to heroin.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  The torture scenes could be described as "intense".
In one series Jack Bauer must decide whether to force the only doctor to save a dying terrorist with crucial information or someone that was shot saving his life. . It is very sad and upsetting.
Several characters have intensely emotional death scenes. The majority of the show is based off of major characters being harmed or being in peril, and it is very rough to watch when main characters are killed graphically.
The entire series is very intense due to its non stop nature.
Many (most) characters have met an untimely death.
In season 8 there is a scene where a man is tortured and gutted and there is a lot of blood involved.
There are many intense 'life or death' situations and emotional scenes.

Story: In this concept drama, each season takes place within one 24 hour period. Day 1: Jack Bauer is the head of field ops for an elite team of CTU agents who uncover an assassination plot targeting Presidential nominee David Palmer. Meanwhile, Jack's strained marriage to his wife, Teri, is pushed to the brink by the sudden disappearance of their troubled teenage daughter. What will the next 24 hours hold?

Likes : This is one series that start off with a bang & strong start to a series, one one thing that made Kiefer Sutherland acting career shine as this is the best role yet for him. This show can best be described as the most innovative, ground-breaking television show of the past 50 years. The reason this show is so ground breaking is the fact that it has used split screen cameras, and a real time format to create the element of a quality made show as one season is stretch out in one season as one days event is one season.
The show follows the worst days of likable, down-to-earth hero Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and each episode chronicles every hour of the day, and is shot in real-time, what really makes this show so unique are the character relationships, the shows writing and the attention to detail. Whether the shows themes are about kidnappings, bomb threats, personal vendettas, assassinations, or terrorist attacks the themes are handled in such a compelling way that the viewer is hooked at every jump and turn.
As the season progress the new character & new events start which keeps the series interesting instead of the rehashing the each other, but the one thing you start feeling sorry for is Jack bauers character.
Those that have start watch or have been watching this series would agree that you feel sorry for jack bauer trying to save a world from terrorist, as the very thing his try to protect turn their backs on him on ever turn. Which in turn cause's a domino effect in his personal life with family & friends as he own life is torn apart just for trying to save the world. This is a series i highly recommend getting in to if you haven't already you will be hook fro day one if you like Kiefer Sutherland.

Dislikes : Some episode tended to get a little slow at time but, its not offend this happens as it just a few at odd time.

Overall : Great action, intense moments, Murder, sabotage, terrorist, booming threats, assassination plots pretty awesome series.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 9 out of 10 for Story concept per-season.

Sex & Nudity: At least one sex scene is shown in each episode. In "The Serpent's Egg", characters about to have sex are shown stripping completely, although the nudity is not explicit.

In multiple episodes an alien woman is shown wearing an outfit that exposes most of her body, including the sides of her breasts and the entirety of her legs.

One of the main characters is a prostitute who runs a brothel/bar.

Season 2, episode 1: It is plain to tell that a female character gives her husband a handjob while visiting when he is incarcerated in a work camp. The same male character grabs another females hand near the end of the episode and starts to pleasure himself with it, but she refuses to continue, joking about it.

Violence & Gore: In "The Devil in the Dark", two bloody, gory after-murder scenes are shown; characters are shown picking up the remaining body parts. In addition, one of the deaths is actually shown, where a hell-bug is shown eating ostensibly through a man's back up out of his chest.

Weapons fire and explosions are often shown. Characters threaten each other with sci-fi knives.

Several characters are shown having been injured by firearms, but the wounds are not gory.

In "The Serpent's Egg", a character is killed in an explosion. Afterwards the scene of the explosion and some are shown.

Profanity: The fictional profanity "shtako" is used repetitively. The term "screw" is used both sexually and non-sexually.
The word "shit" is mentioned 4 times in season 2

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:Many scenes take place in a bar, where large amounts of alcohol consumption are portrayed.

"A Well Respected Man" revolves around an illegal drug harvesting plant, where one character is shown injecting himself with the drugs twice.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: suggested rating R for sci-fi violence, brief language, sexual content, nudity and some drug use

Story: In the year 2046, it's a new Earth - with new rules. Over thirty years after various alien races arrived on Earth, the landscape is completely altered, terraformed nearly beyond recognition. To the town of Defiance, on what used to be St. Louis, comes the mysterious Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his charge, Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas). As they settle into town - overseen by the mayor, Amanda Rosewater (Julie Benz) and filled with residents like the powerful Rafe McCawley (Graham Greene), enterprising lounge owner Kenya (Mia Kirshner) and the ambitious, alien Tarrs (Tony Curran and Jaime Murray) - events begin to unfold that threaten the fragile peace this border town has fought for.

Likes : Not many series start off strong & some rarely make it past first season but thankfully this series made it past the first season & has become one of the popular TV series on syfy channel as well as a game on consoles & pc's.
It start off strong with a back ground Story on what's happen & how things have changed on the earth after the war which really set the tone & atmosphere of the series which is easy to understand, you get to know the place on where most of the series is set, which is based In the city of St. Louis which is renamed Defiance after the war where you get to see different people mixture with aliens from other worlds, kind of like Babylon but on earth.
What brilliant about this series is you get to know the individual character as the series progress which is good because your not getting characters just throw at you not know who they are, you really get to know their personality's which give each character its edge, by the time you half way through episode one of this series your hooked. This series really dose draw you in as there is murder, sabotage, plots, revenge & intense moment's as you start to get to know them all you start to find you care for the characters which is good when a series dose this.It a series i recommend  for all sci-fi fan's as this is one of the popular tv shows on syfy.

Dislikes : The one thing really which is just a slight flaw is some the C.G.I can look a little cheaply done which is understandable trying to keep the cost of the series down, but it could do with being a little better, apart from that the series is really good.

Overall : Intense & emotional moments, characters your love to love & love to hate, great character development

Rating: 5 Out of 5 For Entertainment / 8 out of 10 for Storyline/ Concept
